A special tribute to our "veteran" Teacher at UTS Marlton...

It takes a special individual to work in the field of childcare, this person must have certain qualities in order do to so. Beth Gowan is one of those special few. Miss Beth first joined the Under the Sun family in 1988. This April we are proud to announce that Miss Beth has been a part of Under the Sun for 30 years! What an accomplishment!

Over the last 30 years Miss Beth has worn many different hats, she has worked with every age group, she has run the science program for UTS, and she has even worked in our kitchen. Miss Beth has seen countless children over the years grow and flourish. She has been an integral part of the lives of hundreds of children, impacting each child in a different way. She currently leads our Older 3’s preschool program.

Miss Beth resides in Marlton with her husband. She has three grown children, and is the proud grandmother to six grandchildren. Miss Beth enjoys sharing her creativity with the children. She finds it incredibly rewarding to watch the children grow and learn. Miss Beth strives to put a twist on learning in order to make it fun and exciting for the children. Miss Beth loves to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoys working in her garden and cooking. Those that have enjoyed her death by chocolate dessert know what a dynamo she is in the kitchen!

Miss Beth brings so much to the table. Not only do the children learn from her, I and all of her coworkers do as well. She consistently goes above and beyond to collaborate with her coworkers and offer her guidance and experience. She is always willing to go that extra step as well as lend a helping hand. Alongside all that Miss Beth teaches the children she loves and nurtures them as well. Miss Beth has been with Under the Sun for 30 years, yet her ideas are always fresh, new and exciting. Miss Beth’s loyalty and dedication go far beyond expectations. Miss Beth is such an important part of the Under the Sun family, she is looking forward to the 2018 – 2019 upcoming school year!
